Winter Wellness Reboot: STEP 2 HEALING THE GUT / STARTER RECIPES
2 posts for you today - one with recipes, and the other with all the good information on healing the gut and Leaky Gut.
Here are a few recipes that I've collected over the years and kept in my "DK Friendly" cook book to help get you started with foods that help heal the gut.
Dont worry, I'll be going more into it as the week progresses.
They come from various places; books, magazines, websites, flyers etc... so I apologize to any authors as I do not know the origin of them and are part of my recipe collection.
The recipes come from a wide variety of protocols; ranging from Paleo, Dr. Myers, Dr Axe, Autoimmune Protocol, Wahls Protocol, Dr Furhman diet, Anti-Inflammatory Diet, LOW FODMAP, and the Allergy Diet.
I've put them in picture form so you can just print off the ones you like or save them to your computer.
If you're unable to tolerate meat at this time - its okay. You can keep the meat for the rest of the family, or skip the meat all together.
The broth is the most beneficial to you at this time.
I'll have more recipes for you tomorrow... I hope this helps get you started. And again, use discernment when making the recipes and omit any ingredient you have an allergic response too. Leaving out or substituting an ingredient still makes it tasty!!
