Carrot Cake Smoothy (2 recipies)
I posted 2 ways to make it in case one recipe is better than the another for you. Either way - If you like the peach pie smoothy or the cheese cake smoothy - this is sure to be a hit!!!
This a delicious recipe and I love it!! Its a good way to get veggies without the veggie taste!!
Recipe 1:
1 medium FROZEN banana, peeled, diced (or omit) 1 cup diced carrots* (about 2 medium-sized carrots), peeled if you'd like 2/3 cup NON DAIRY milk (I use cashew which is creamier or vanilla coconut or rice milk) 1/2 cup plain or vanilla So Delicious non dairy yogurt 2 teaspoons maple syrup (optional) 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (if can tolerate) pinch of ground ginger pinch of ground nutmeg (if can tolerate) *Note: if you'd like raisins, pre-soak some raisins for 5 minutes in hot water so they blend far better.
Recipe 2: You may need to substitute the yogurt to Coconut yogurt or whatever kind you can tolerate.
You can substitute banana for sweet potato (1/2 cooked, cooled, diced)
You can substitute the seasoning with Apple Pie or Pumpkin pie seasoning
